New Dell Monitor

computers

I ordered a new Dell monitor today. I decided to go with a 19" flat panel. I know it's not the best, but it's a pretty good price, and it matches the one I already have. Now let's just hope I become more productive at home. :)

I'm curious, what kind of equipment is everyone working on?

Nice work Fro, I'd love to get another 19 inch monitor at home. I just have one right now, how sweet would it be to have code up on one side and then the browser up on the other? Oh well, maybe some day.

This is the machine I do most of my development on anyway.

Not sure if this image will show up or not...

Here is the link, it's a Dell Inspirion 9200, 17in wide screen. A heavy son-of-a-gun.

At work, I have dual 21" giant old school monitors. Other than not having any desk space, I really love working on the duals, and Ubuntu manages it like a charm. Outside the office I am full-time laptop with a monitor that only support 1024x768. I have wide-screen-envy like a mofo.

Dave,

At work, I use to have 2 monster CRTs. I'm so glad they're gone. Now I have 2 18" flats. I love working on them. That's why I have to get another one for home. I just feel so much more productive.

Now it's time to find a new desk for home.

I have a similar set-up to Dave. Two big CRTs at work, a 1024x768 max res laptop at home. I rarely ever work on my desktop at home but it has a 17" flat panel.
